There are many ways that married couples use to maintain what they said "I DO" during marriage ceremony. However life does not always be filled with joy. Sometimes, hard times come to us. Only couples who can change the negative feeling into the positive one can endure their relationship. Feelings like angry and jealous are likely to be the dominant feelings once someone can not think clearly. We need to know that this hard times does not always come to our life. There will be time where all things are seen to be green and fresh. That is the time where couples need to talk to each other and sort out any negative feeling might have been kept so far. Have you ever been to Baucau? Probably yes or may be no. Those who haven’t been to Baucau, this will be the information for you. Baucau is one of the thirteen districts and is the second largest city in East Timor. It is located in the eastern part of the country which is only two and a half drive from Dili, the capital of East Timor. It has six sub-districts – Quelicai, Baquia, Laga, Vemasse, Baucau Villa and Venilale. There are few languages that are spoken in these areas. People from Quelicai, Laga and Baguia speak Makassae while Baucau Villa, Vemasse and Venilale Speak Waima’a. Tetum is also spoken by most of Baucau people. The capital of Baucau is named Vila Antiga, Portuguese words which means old town, is not the only town in Baucau. There is another town which was newly built around 90s. This is the day to remember the tragedy on February, 11th, 2008. Two top leaders of Timor-Leste, President and Prime Minister were about to be assasined by a group of rebel soldiers led by former Timorese Military Police commander, Alfredo Reinado. Luckily, they both survived. Prime Minister, Xanana Gusmao escape the ambush while president got shot in the stomach. He was taken to the Australian army medical center in Dili before then evacuated to Darwin Hospital for further treatment. That was about 7am I went to ICFJ, my workplace, as usual. As I got there, I got told by my director about the incident which I didn't believe at the time, but I had to convince myself to believe it. Few hours later, government announced the state of siege. Everyone should stay at home so I went back home. This incident has been a lesson for me that involving myself in political life could put my life in danger. Despite the 2006 crisis, government of Timor Leste create new motto for 2009.  It is "Good bye conflict, welcome development". This motto is to remind all citizens to contribute to the national development. Hope, Timor Leste will really be developed.  Viva!!!
